there is both, USASA is actually the united states snowboard association, but they do skiing pipe, slope, and skiercross too

dude good luck in open class the competitors are so rediculous, so much harder then you think. but on the other thing i hope to be going for skierX 13-15 one more skier x comp in my division on march 12 to see if i am in. probably will qualify for pipe and slope too but idk if i am going to compete in those being from the east and all guys on my team got raped last year i might just do skierx and freeride the other days.

thanks dude, the more competitive the more fun!
my series, rocky mountain, is one of the toughest in the country, and i ski with a bunch of really good skiers, one is just starting to race world cup in march, so i'm feeling like i'll have a shot to make some cash /claim

ya man that is the hardest series for sure. but i am from the mid atlantic pretty mellow and in skierX it is me against a bunch of race team kids. and if you can get some cash go for it good luck haha.
