Anytime after installing adobe premiere elements 8 (pro too i think) whenever you boot the computer a process called ElementsAutoAnalizer runs and uses up to 50% of your CPU(slows down editing alot) To fix this, open Premiere ->Organizer then go to Edit->Preferences->Auto Analizer and uncheck the Run On Startup box. Also, you can open Task Manager and got to Processes and end it manually there(although it only ends the process untill the computer is restarted.
