So in the midst of torrential rain here on Saturday my girlfriend and I were looking for something to do indoors since we had family visiting from out of town. We decided to check out The Bodies Exhibibt in the South Street Seaport. Holyfuckingshit. It was the most mindblowing thing i have ever seen. There are hundreds of bodies, all preserved, some with muscle showing, others with bones, pieces of bones, lungs, arteries and veins entirely extraced from a human and suspended in a tank of water. The most disturbing part was the section with the babies in it. A fetus in a glass container is a strange thing to look at when you know its real. This exhibit has been in NY for a few years and I know it is all over the country now. if there is one by you check it out.
