The new multiplayer maps for CODMW2 will cost $15 for five new maps. This is such bullshit. But millions will still buy it.

My Xbox gets back from the repair shop on Thursday!  I'm so pumped haha.  It broke in December and I've been too busy/not really cared enough to get it fixed, but I finally sent it out and now I can play MW2 and Skate again in two days!

So. Infinity ward or whatev, put the map pack for sale at around 3:00 a.m. eastern time, but, people who did not download the map pack were still getting in to matches on the new maps, so they were getting in to the new maps for free. So infinity ward posted a quick patch/update, it worked but it also stopped the people who bought the maps from being able to use them as well. and now it is impossible to find a match on xbox live. Awesome! now all we can do is play private matches. yay! cheers to MW2!

servers are fucked up, i played one game though and the new maps play really well. i ran around the new maps in split screen for a few mins because i can't even do private match

i dont understand why people need to patch video games so much now. i mean, im stoked for the map pack, and that makes sense, because its actual new content. but having to patch the new content like 20 minutes after its release? that's fucking RETARDED. why didn't you just finish it in the first place you dumb fuck!!

my thoughts on the matter:
1) i wish theyd bring in gold camo, and the m40.
2) 15 bucks is pretty expensive considering we've all already paid 60 bucks for the damn game
3) thermal vision does sound sort of gay
4) ill give them a bit to work out the kinks before buying it, plus my roommate just got BC2 and we're having fun playing it
5) the skorpion? why? SMGs suck in this game and the skorpion sucked in cod4 from what i remember

I would have paid $15 just for crash. I love that map. It was all fucked up a bit ago though, took me almost an hour to get into a lobby without being kicked from XBL

My roommate at college was getting his fourth nuke in a row, and the damn xbox shut off and we got the red rings.....wont be playing or buying the map pack for awhile then....hopefully by the time it comes back from microsoft the map pack will be cheaper, but still not complaining, new maps look dope

i guess i never looked at perks but playing the "stimulus" play list today there was no thermal goggles or scorpions or any of those just 5 maps

Storm
Salvage
Crash
Overgrown

I got to play Crash, Overgrown, Salvage, and the final round of a S&D on Bailout.

its a blast playing crash and overgrown again (COD4 maps for people who don't know...plus when i was playing how many people play MW2 that never played COD4? I was in a lobby where everyone was like
"whoooaaa this is so different!!!!")

Salvage I really like...its a snowy junk yard and there are a few buildings and some obvious camping spots but the map pretty much boils down to who gets their gun out first...its not huge at all and makes for an exciting game.

Bailout is probably the sickest map I have ever played in a game....its a huge apartment complex and you can make it pretty much all the way across the map inside and outside...its all close quarters and claymores indoors and long range outdoors.

Can't wait to try out storm...should be a blast.

so far 2 of the 3 actual new ones are legit...to bad it isn't free map packs though...it really should be.

it does really chap my ass thinking about how much these gys r gunna make for this and how they prolly have like 3 more map packs just sitting there they all look at them drooling over the profit they know they r gunna rake in saying things like "these kids r sooo stupid It takes 2 minutes to rearrange highrise to amke it look like a whole new leve!!"

a lot of people don't like how its set up though....

just to let you all know...the two new playlists are Stimulus Package and Stimulus Package Hardcore

and you only play the 5 new maps and it cycles between game types...i played S&D, Demolition, Domination and TDM

some day the new maps will get cycled in with the original like back in CoD4

I haven't played in a while just because of how boring it got but if this map pack costs money there's no point in me even playing this game anymore. I'm not paying money for a fucking map pack.

They should give it to us for free for how fucked up everything about this game has been since day 1.

i was just looking at BC2 on youtube, that game looks soo sick. mw2 is too noob friendly, and the guns are too accurate. i was playing COD4 for a bit and the AR's are good where they're supposed to be good, its really hard to headshot someone across the map with an acog attached to them. fuck mw2

ha i was in gamestop the other day...asked an employee what he thought of BC2 and Mag vs. MW2...he goes

"hands down MW2 wins over both, the game play is so much more smooth and it is easier to come by kills in MW2 mag and BC2 seem to limit them"

Map Pack isnt worth it at all. It should be free, or $5 at the most. They almost did nothing but create two more maps. I was disappointed when they didnt include any original COD or COD2 map remakes.

Im pretty sure these games were on the disk when we got it too... some kid was telling me online earlier that all the download did was unlock them for you and shit. dunno if its true but if it is, its fuckin horse shit.
