New MW2 Map Pack: $15

The new multiplayer maps for CODMW2 will cost $15 for five new maps. This is such bullshit. But millions will still buy it.

According to a lot of people it will feature a lot more than just maps. Possibly new guns, perks etc.

Oh nooooo $3 a piece for digital content (maps) that will most likely provide you a healthy dose of entertainment.  New game modes too, fuck.

If you're thinking about that $15 bucks bringing you down, try not buying that next shitty .7 dub of seedy regs at the next party you go to.

honesty, $15 does sound like a bit of a rip.
but you have to take into consideration the amount of time that was spent to create all of these. also, the amount of time you will waste playing these.

i for one will buy them.

$15 ? Honestly I'd probably pay almost $50 for new game content for MW2.

it's worth it to me because it's the only game I play. Back when they did it for World at War it wasn't worth it to me and it was a minor annoyance when it came to playing online but honestly it's not that big of a deal.

I'm pumped, can't wait for them to be released.

People dont realize that all this shit used to be free. Back in the day people made full games within games all for free and now the video game industry is killing that just so that they can make more money. Anyone remember desert combat for battlefield 1942?!? Shit was better than the original game and completely free. No way id spend 15 dollars.

For now ill stick with bad company 2 and get my free map packs.

^ yo he is right not to mention video games are whoring themselves out more and more to advertisements and such, and still the cost of video games continues to rise, having said all of this, will purchase the map pack, because MW2 is getting pretty beat

agreed. I, for one, won't be buying it. $15 could definitely be better spent then new maps for a fuckin video game which already costs $60 (ripoff).

cs had so many maps i probably didnt play half of them, and the game cost me 15$.

and if im paying 15$ for a map pack i expect the maps to be glitch free, but noo it takes months before they work out the kinks. such a rip off

I just get annoyed with companies like EA, THQ, and others that release a game and then the day after release they have DLC for fighters (Fight Night games) that should have been in the original release.

amazing.  
Crash is my alltime favorite map and overgrown is amazing.   fastswap is something ive been hoping for since i abandoned shotguns for the M9 just because i couldnt take out my shotty fast enough. and the Dragonov is so fun its rediculous,  MW2 doesnt have a sniper rifle with the same feel as the dragonov imo

also:  $15 is nothing.     go to subway twice or play amazing maps for 10+ days..

i think theyll have to add some more detail since MW2 is way more complicated than MW.       maybe some more rooms in buildings, balconies,   etc.

Outside of a graphical upgrade I don't see anything being changed to them. When Bungie remade Blood Gulch for the second and third Halo games people bitched all over the GameSpot and IGN boards.

I've never bought any dlc from xbox, this may be the first. I was hoping for an r700 or g36c or even the g3, guess not. Toggle thermal vision perk, that's gonna be annoying.

The reason its going this way now is because people bought into the whole console thing. Very easy to make people pay for things the pc players have been making/downloading free for years. Im glad you all have to pay for it, I will be getting it for free.

Problem though with PC gaming (I used to play CS, Oblvion, BF2, and other games on it) is that when new games for the PC come out, in order to fully enjoy the game you basically have to completely re do your PC every 6 months. That gets expensive.
