so i'm in reno visiting my uncle and ive been skiing around the area a bit. first of all i want to say i rented some k2 coombas and they were DOPE! my first time skiing a fatter ski and ive never had so much fun as i did today i think. anyway i was at squaw today and wanted to check out the palisades, but they were closed. any locals know why, and whether they'll be open in the next couple days?
also i wanted to know if anyone on here is from reno or been here a lot. any fun ideas for going out at night? im 22 and would like to have some fun and meet some ladies or whatever, but im not too interested in gambling. itd be great if anyone could hook me up with some fun ideas at night, or better yet, hook me up with a bag? thanks

often the palisades are not open on weekends as patrol are worried about the amount of people in chicken bowl. Should be open on Monday

ah i see, makes sense i guess, just because to ski down that bowl (which i assume is the one youre talking about) after reading the "palisades closed" sign i had to wait for nine thousand retards to slide down on their asses before i could go. ill try to hit it up tomorrow or the next day. thanks man, appreciate it

you should check out the palisades at sugarbowl, those are pretty gnarly.

I don't know you or your skiing ability what so ever. But considering this is your first time on a ski that is 104(I am assuming) underfoot means you probably haven't skied that much big mountain terrain? Anywho the palisades are fucking gnarly, espc especially ially if they haven't gotten snow in a while. Just be careful, yeah......

yeah word man i appreciate your concern, im not gonna walk up there and send it off the biggest drop or anything. im definitely way past the point in my skiing where i have any interest in doing things waaay out of my comfort zone, if i go up again ill be very sensible about it

I only went out one night when I was in Reno with the Moment Crew. Lost my wallet (which a cab company later found & called me), drank from my shoe, song Eve 6 here's to the night at Karaoke and woke up with one of the worst hangovers ever.
Reno's fun, bar's don't close until like 5.
Check out Imperial.

if you don't like closed sections, come next door to Alpine Meadows.
