Itchy cast relief

ive tried everything what have u guys done to relieve eitchy cast....and mine is not waterproof

At the gas station, I did it once and it worked super fine and it's only 25¢ for the best relief. It's a good investment trust me.

Stick the thin attachment from a vaccum in it to dry it out. The only solution that really works. Scratching it now will only make it hurt more later. Also, holding it out car window if you live in a dry climate helps, I've just had a cast for 11 weeks.

take a zip tie and zip it all the way then stick it down there and go nuts(the cast that is)

just to let you know, you're a moron if you stick any objects under your cast. There is an open wound under there and you're basically asking for more cuts, stuck objects, or a staph infection. Go to your doc and ask for a waterproof cast, or ask him to put a new cast on and wash your arm before he puts the new one on.

yeah dude. im casted right now for torn ligaments and bone fragments in the my thumb. waterproof casts are the best for itches. i just pour some cold water down it and its instant relief.

I'm pretty sure he didnt say anything about a cut under his cast...

and im thinkin coat hanger, depending on the cast you have, i remember sticking rulers in my full leg cast lol.

Don't sweat, when I broke my elbow many years ago I decided that sweating caused a lot of itching. I stuck some stick thing (hahah!1!one!11 that's what she said, somebody is gonna say it) up there and it broke and I had to use pliers to get it out. The doctor wouldn't be too stoked to cut it off and find a broken stick in there.

like that guy said above, use an air compressor ^^ just stick the nozzle thing in your cast and blow, its instant relief. if you dont have one, or dont wanna go to a gas station, you gotta go with the classic unsharpened pencil.

try to stray from putting long slender objects in your cast. if you break the skin you will probably get an infection from all the build up of whatever you have in your cast. dry air cold air wet cloth depending on how much room you have in there.
