Should have posted this a month ago, but been pretty busy. And yeah, I
know it is ski/snowboard but it will get way more people seeing this in
here.
Anyway, Rowen and I are looking for a 3rd roommate for our apartment in
NW Portland. I am sure we will have to go the craigslist route...but
really wanted to see if we could maybe have some luck here first.
Location is essentially NW 21st and Burnside (one block off burnside) so
right by the bus line, 5 minute walk to 21st/23rd, less than 10 minutes
to downtown, 15-20 minutes old town. Area kills it. Fred Meyer,
Zuban's, and Trader Joe's both within 5 minutes. Safeway in the Pearl
or by PSU are within a 5 minute bike ride. Lots of good food around and
tons of bars, PGE park is few blocks away. Only downside is parking
can be a bit hellish, but I try to drive as little as possible. Annual
permit = $35
1400 sf 3 bedroom, 1 bath apartment on the 2nd floor. Hardwood floors,
carpets in the bed rooms. Coin operated washer/drier. Apartment has
some work done before we moved in, so it is in pretty good shape.
We have two cats who run the show. So if you don't like cats, sorry.
Rent = $435/month. Deposit would need to be paid to our roommate who
just moved out. We actually already covered rent in here for March, so
it is available right now.
The kicker - we are on a month to month lease. I have been living here
for over a year, so being month to month is super nice.
Rowen and I have a super crazy schedule, and really haven't even lived
here for 6 months (rowen's stuff is still boxed up), but we should
finally be back to a more normal life soon. Still, we work weekends,
ski midweek (when we finally get to ski again), and are both 23, so we
do tend to go out a bit. Never had any noise issues as long as we keep
it reasonable, even when drinking into the morning.
If you want more detail, shoot me an email -
scott@on3pskis.com. It would be
sweet to get someone in by April, but that is probably wishful thinking
at this point.
Double bonus would be if I could find our new 3rd employee at ON3P,
since it would kill two birds with one stone.
