i am putting a new binding plate on my ski and ski tech said i should use some kind of glue to hold the screws in. Can i use threadlock?? or will that hold the screw in forever?
it dpends on what plate you are drilling into. if it is metal use the blue threadlock. if it is wood then use wood glue. if it is a plstic type plate like on race skis then dont use anything
Just use a small amount of Wood Glue...the whole purpose is to keep the screw holes water tight so water doesn't get into the wooden core and cause it to rot.
what do you mean already drilled? like mounted once before or you just got someone to drill holes for you? if they are fresh holes wood glue like everyone else said.
the reason i ask is cause old holes will need a coil in them.
