So this is the first time posting a thread on my iPod so don't flip out if the spelling is shit.
So I just got a pair of Boone magic sticks in size 170 with the 93mm. I have a pair of look px12 bindings and a pair of brand new salomon sth 12. Which ones should I mount on the new skis.
I'm leaning towards the sth 12 to mount
Opinions? Also I'm 130 pounds if that helps.
I would say mount whatever has brakes that fit, but I'm guessing that both had around 90-100mm breaks. I love my sth12's, I don't remember if you said the px12 was a ti version. I would go with the sth 12. I like mine, they are fairly durable for a plastic binding, and have been reliable for me. I like the heel piece better than the px12.
I have skied both bindings. Sth's seem more geared towards mountain, and bigger lines, but im on pivots right now as can hit anything on them. Both bindings seem equal to me, but im leaning towards the looks, because of the "elastic travel", since they seem to only pop out when needed, not all the time, like other bindings.
