Armada vs Line

Line has been around longer, larger product range, owned by K2, made in the K2 factory in China.

Armada hasn't been around quite as long, has a more limited product range, and their skis are made by Head in Austria.

They both make good skis, and they are two of only a very select few ski companies that were profitable in the past year.

Armadas are made to ride great and they suck at sales pitches which IMO hurts their sales lots
LINEs are made for sales pitches.

Armadas are so much better thought out and more fun... but NS is obsessed with line so that will be most people answers

but better yet stop comparing brands, compare skis for what you want them to do..

actually armadas are made by atomic.. but also in austria. as far as i am concerned it comes down to personal preference since line have sorted out the bigger part of their durability issues

I have skiied both skis. Personally i like Armada skis better, but thats an opinion. What i dd notice, is that line skis depend on their flex, to work with pow (ep pro's or elizabeths) The blends are a solid ski. Armadas seem to have less flex but more pop, and a little stiff, with more durability. I like armadas with my bigger mountain mind, but if your into a more flexy ski go with line. Hope this helps.

First of all Armada Skis and Line are both very good comanies, as said above I woould look more at the ski and shop around almost every brand.

personally for park, i like armada over line by a long shot. lighter, more responsive, better durability, just better in every category for me. however, without taking durability in to consideration (yes, i know that is a HUGE issue when buying a ski) i like salomons park skis out of the ones ive tried/ owned. i have suspects and absolutely love them, and have tried 2012's and loved them (i know, ive only tried 2 and i shouldnt judge salomon on just 2 skis, so dont get on my back too much)

ive tried like anthems and afterbangs, and the bases get white and pasty after a day or so, kinda shit, cause i hav to wax em all the time

They make very different styles of skis, Line is not at all my style but other people love the ride (like my GF for example).

As far as durability goes, Armada has been beyond ridiculously awesome for bombproofing and Line has been less than impressive (at least for park skis, their pow skis are pretty sick).

I would recommend hopping on both and trying them out if you can, that's really the only way to know what you want.

I skied both(owned chronics..) and like ARVs more.  If you're willing to mount at -6 then Chronics are a good ski, but if not then I hated them in everything(mounted farther forward).  There they'd be a good medium-stiff 85 wasited all mountain ski that can also do real well in park(the mounts fine).

ARVs are more fun to me though
