In general the larger poverty the larger the obesity%, and the Indigenous population normally has a larger obesity and diabetes%. Nunavut has a much less immigrant population and much great poverty % Rural areas have greater obesity than urban, since more people drive rather than bike, walk or use public transport.

Considering that I have spent the majority of my University career focused on WWI, and Canada in The Great War in particular, I applaud you sir.  Karma to 10. It is refreshing to hear that some people actually know whats up about the WWI and that the USA did sweet bugger all in it.

Except for the most basic fact that more US soldiers gave their lives, in the short time they were involved, than did the Canadians over the course of the whole war.

You don't need to give me a history lesson che.

Secondly, my great grandfather was a British artillery officer during the first world war, so its really to people like him that the Canadians owe their victory.

thank you. finally someone who's not a total idiot and actually knows what he's talking about

there's a reason everyone respected the storm troopers so much, we really earned alot of respect in WWI. I visited the vimy memorial last year, as well as passchendale, ypres, somme, juno beaches, and more. an amazing trip and definitely the reason i find myself so proud to be a canadian.

Nothing of what you just responded has anything to do with what I wrote. Sure there were battles in the slaughter that was WW1 where the US succeeded thanks to the Brits, and vice versa, what does that have to do with what I wrote? I was just pointing out that your attempts to pin me as American were wrong.

That land was given to the Canadians because they led the assault (not that uncommon of a practice), which was only a small part of a wider allied offensive. I'd never even heard of vimy ridge, something I share with 2/3 of your country, so I apologize if I only have time to glance over a wiki synopsis.

 damn... i did not know about all tha canadian involvment in WWone thats crazy, and bosh the player is SICK... too bad he will be leaving the raptors... and i have to say the single most amazing thing to ever EVER come out of canada is trailer park boys... hands down funniest show ever.. make up for bryan adams in strides.... and that badass robot arm on the space shuttle thanks.....  and thanks canada for taking in americans who wanted to fight in the early stages off world war two but could not.  but still i  am an american. and have had my e fights with the canucks on this site.. but in the end of the day were on the same rock... so we better get used to it.... PEACE!   

ps   poutine is not that bad... but if you guys keep eating it.. youl be as fat as us!

The Canadians played a huge part in WWI. Anyone who says against that is an idiot. There was a reason why Canadian troops were called storm troopers. I don't know much about americans part in the war but you can't say Canada did not do anything. Canadians have every right to be proud of Canada!

relax man, I didn't exactly get owned in history. Nothing of what I said was really incorrect (except for maybe the mustard gas remark), just varies by opinion. The gas remark was based off a history class I took back in high school, where the teacher told us that the first mustard gas attack hit a group of Canadian soldiers. I only remembered it because some of my classmates started to chuckle, seeing as most of us were unaware you even had an army.

Vimy ridge was just part of a larger offensive, sure the Canadians kicked some ass in that battle, but I'm just trying to tell you not to get such a big dick over it. Besides, I like Canada, I've had some great drunken nights in Vancouver, besides the fact that I emptied my wallet on your overpriced liquor.

Like make your own beer? I think so, at least they sell kits for it, some of my friends did in highschool, tasted like shit but when you're 16 you dont care. And my parents used to make wine and dad certainly doesnt break many laws.

i agree with that statement.

i just recently moved downtown and have been going to Central Tech on Bloor and Bathhurst for 2 months now. the cultural demographic is fucking crazy. i am part of the 10% of the schools Caucasian makeup out of 2300 students. multicultural schools isn't a bad thing but it can sometimes contribute to allot of violence and conflict.
