yo so i can do threes on this small 15ft jump and i will either end up doing like 450 or wicked backseat, and I have taken it to a bit bigger jump and its mainly overrotation, how can i slow down my rotation or keep balanced and stuff
Just slow everything down. Concentrate on getting a good set and pop, and putting in a grab is a really good way to keep everything smooth and composed while you're in the air. A 15 foot 360 and a 60 foot 360 are no different aside from being in the air longer.
yeah i was doing some mutes over the 15footer and that slowed it down but i just wasnt balling up my 3s enough so that was putting me off axis but in the park we have 2 jumps that 30 footer which will be in the slopestyle and like a 25 footer so ill work on it and maybe enter the comp if i am feelin it
For me, I find it helps if I concentrate on popping, then setting the spin after I have popped. Just experiment with different things and you'll get it
Dont freak out about being blind in the air. When you get to the lip, wind up just a little bit (too much wind will make you go back seat and over rotated) , just pop, relax, and keep looking over your shoulder. Pretty much what everyone else said, slow every thing down a bit and dont over think it.
