Which park/all mountain ski?

i have looked at moment tahoes, surface watch lifes, line blends, and a few others. i am 5'10" so dont want anything too long (preferably 170-176). i dont want something very stiff either (i want softer than my walls). im on the east coast also so something that holds an edge well for carving on ice. help me out ns

I had the 08-09 line blands, and if you are looking for a east coast one ski quiver they should fit your bill. They are fairly reasonably priced compared to other skis, so you would have to take out a loan.

The K2 Extremes works for a 1 ski quiver for me and i'm also on the East Coast. I love the skis they can take any beating you throw at em

how is the blend on rails? is it easy to play around with and do switch ups etc? for some reason i have an idea in my head that it seems kinda heavy and hard to spin and isnt very playful i dunno why

I have watchlifes and they are great. Lots of pop and wide enough for the occasional cliff huck on a powder day.

Exactly what he said, I aswell am 1. From the east 2. Have k2 extremes 3. Agree that they can take a beating One thing though is that the extremes are a heavy ski

Yes they carve just fine. Mine are enter mounted, so its a bit off, but  -3 or something would be great!

what about armada arv's? will they be too heavy and stiff to really throw around in the park?

i have line blends and i use mine for park and love them. they are stiffer so they are good for hitting big jumps and being 100 underfoot its only more surface to land on. i find them to work really well on rails and i dont have any problems spinning on/off and doing switch ups. the only thing is that they chip on rails easily but mine have held up pretty well.

k2 extremes. is your best option i would say. i own them as part of of my quiver and love them, ski them as my "east coast day" ski here on the west coast. i have been on all the other ones you have asked about and hands down the extreme would win. if you want something fun and different get the one life from surface not the greatest in all those catagorys but i think would be alot of fun to play around on and never have a "boring" day

if you dont get the blends because of this reason look at the chronic...there an all mountain ski/park ski but are more towards park than the blends. they come in a 166, 171, 176

Yeah I definitely agree, super fun in the park, can still charge on groomers, and they'd be alright for powder since they're pretty fat and rockered.
