searchbar this shit dammit, anyway now that i bitched, chronics are all around dope and super solid, hold up on urban real well too, the chronics are light, and very fun, dont hesitate to get these, also the abangs are a symmetrical ski where as the chronics are not, from what ive seen/ heard though the abangs have had a lot of problems this year, if you have any other questions about the chronic in specific PM me i have had them for 2 years
woah, woah, woah...where are you hearing about Afterbangs and problems...I beat the living hell out of mine and they're holding up fine with the exception of some edge missing (but that'll happen with any ski the way I ride them). Basically if you want a soft, symmetrical rail ski, go with the Afterbangs, if you want a stiff jump ski go with the Chronics.
I think i would want the chronics or chronic cryptonite because i'm not just gonna ski park and urban. I still ski pow and trees, and your thread said that the abangs wont do so well on groomers cause theyre softer, so i think i would want htes tiffer ski (Chronic). Plus I mostly compete in big air.
If you ski pow the 92mm waist on the Cryptonites will come in handy. It will be more stable for landings on jumps (you said you do big air so that would be a good thing)
no. if you use them they will literally explode everywhere. not only that, they will metaphorically explode everywhere. seriously, don't fucking do it.
