At okemo the other weekend i was skiing switch down a trail when some douchebag snowboard cut me off to avoid hitting him i basically dove out of the way and hit a slow sign. aparntley while avoiding the douche bag border and falling my pole almost hit him in the eye? so i didnt want to make a big deal and apoligized to teh dude and went into the lift line. he followed me and my friends in the line and was talking mad shit the dude was like 35 years old 6' 4 and looked like he was on blow. he unstrapped and came at me wanting to fight. He came up threw a punch but stopped in front off my face and walked off trying to look tough in front of his girl friend

Anyone have any experinces with fights on ski mountains?

but seriously shit is going to go down at the mountain and youre going to have to deal with it, just try to stay outta fights considering usually the mountain isnt to excited with you if that happens.

my little sister (age 12 at the time) got rallied by some drunkard boarders and my father proceeded to pole-whack him over the shin and snap is pole off, him and his buddies were not happy with me, i evaded by hauling dick and thinking nothing of it, fights skiing....lame. it's a peaceful sport. keep it unreal and off the hook.

i was skiing at a local hill (bradford) about 3 weeks ago and i get to the top with my 2 friends and theres this kid probally 6th or 7th grade beating the shit out of this other kid the same age. like the kid was still strapped in to his board and on top of the kid punching him in the side of the head repeatedly. we were so shoked we really didnt know what to do but a liftie broke it up after like 2 min

never had an actual fight but have definitely had some verbal altercations.

one day i was waiting in line for a two seater at my mountain and behind me this guy asks another person two spots in front of me if he is a single so he could ride up with him. the man in front doesn't hear this but he clearly is with someone else so i tell the guy behind me it looks like he has someone to ride up with. the guy behind then says something in a dick tone like, "oh well sorry line police i didn't mean to cause any trouble". i was kinda pissed because i was trying to held the guy so i said "jesus christ, just trying to help". then he said "fuck you, pay attention next time". and it just kept going back and forth. it was pretty hilarious considering he was at least 50 and i'm 17. ha i probably didn't help the situation but it pissed me off he was being dick when i was just trying to help. nothing too heated but its all i got.

There's an alpine coach at my mountain (Sunday river) who got hit by a snowboarder and the coach broke her collar bone and some ribs..and the dad of the snowboarder blamed this on her and never appologized.

I was riding in the Stash at Northstar one time and there was a good amount of pow. So they have this cabin set up that you can jump over, and it's amazing on a pow day. So I'm on my inrun, and a snowboarder comes out of nowhere and cuts me off right as I'm about to hit this cabin for the first time in a while. I yell, "Watch the fuck out," he starts flippin out telling me to watch who I talk shit to and he says, "I doubt you really wanna see what's in my pocket." (Little did he know that I found a knife in the snow not even a minute before this incident. Not saying it was what he had in his pocket, but it would have been damn funny if he tried to pull his knife, and realized he dropped it.)

So I ski down and give the knife to ski patrol, and continue living my life.

this one time a guy ran over my new skis in the lift line so i tapped him in the back of the legs with my poles and was like hey those are my skis or something like that. so then he was really pissed and wanted to fight so he said hed wait at the top. then we got to the top and i tried to talk him out of it and said i just wanted to ski but he wacked one of my poles out of my hands with his poles and started yelling at me. meanwhile his fat girlfriend is yelling at my boarder friend for some reason and he ends up calling her a slut or something, she spits in his face so he punched her in the face. so now the dude that was really pissed at me gets really pissed at my friend and starts hitting him with his poles. so i hit him back with my poles and get a pretty good hit to his face. then they ski off not to get in trouble because someone called ski patrol. then ski patrol comes up and makes sure were all right. they took our side because we were much younger than the dude. one of the patrollers even brought up this badass looking stick hoping hed have to use it in self defence haha

they were alot more patient than I would have been too. I would have been firing right back at him immediately. which is not the best course of action,I know.

quick one, no one w 2 wheel drive cars could make it up the mountain so people were taking the shuttle. problem was there was alot more people than there was space on the shuttle, and it was the last one. people were FREAKING out, paying dudes w 4wd to take em up, etc cuz its like midnight. last shuttle comes: this older dude w tons of kids and gear is racing to put all his shit on. my little brother goes to get on in between one of dudes gear trips, dude starts pushing him! I say hey man no need for pushing. him:hes cutting!, me: relax everyone is gonna get on, dont push people-, him cuts me off: shut up man, me: dont tell me to shut up, him: I just did. me(instantly furious and squaring up): fuck you bitch! in front of the whole line including my gf, my dad, dudes kids, other kids. he drops his head and scampers in to the shuttle saying nothing. I felt kinda bad for dogging him out.

A couple weekends ago, my friend and I were riding park. We stopped along side a jump, completely out of anyones way, just to chill for a second. All of a sudden out of no where come these boarders tearing up to us. We could tell right away they were up to no good. So they got in our faces and started makin trouble my park. I ended up getting in a little fight, and when my mom found out about it she got pretty scared and made pack up my things and move to my auntie and uncle's in Bel Aire. There's no skiing here. I had to whistle for a cab and when it came near I saw that the licence plate said "Fresh" and it had dice in the mirror. If anything, I could see the discount was rare, but I though nah forget it, go home to Bel Aire. I pulled up to the house around seven or eight and yelled to cabbie, " Yo homes, smell ya later." I looked at my kingdom, I was finally there to sit on my throne as the prince of bel aire.
