By editable do you mean like a vector with different objects and anchors and all? Use live trace if you're in Illustrator cs2 or higher, not sure if cs1 has that. If you have illustrator find live trace, use black and white mode and play with the threshold slider. The slider called either resample or rasterize or something with an r, it's under the threshold section can help you out too. Actually, play with all the settings, I haven't use it in a long time.

The logo looks simple enough to do with the pen tool too. Just trace it in Illustrator, it looks like you'll have to use pathfinder and the add and subtract shape buttons, unless I'm not seeing the easier way that may or may not exist here? Anybody else?

I have CS4 but have never used Illustrator, my only background is Photoshop and Lightroom. But I need it in vector so I can save trouble later for resizing and making stickers and such. Thanks for the info, I'll try to figure that out.
