Why would that make a difference? I mean, nothing really beats longboarding the Venice boardwalk, but I don't really see how location has an effect on skateboarding. Regular skating is way cooler than longboarding anyway, I just can't do it so I longboard instead hahaha. But longboarding is way fun. Its just way fucking dangerous if you start doing downhill, I was getting fucked up when I was bombing hills every other night. You don't fall much but when you do at like 25+mph you are getting fucked up.

Yo! I guess you could say I skateboard but I'm not quite that good. I can ollie, kickflip, pop shuv, and boardslide but that's it. My passion is going to the skatepark on a regular basis and filming all of my friends.

Personally, I wouldn't go onto youtube and search "how to ollie" or "how to kickflip" because everyone on there sucks at tradational skateboarding and they don't know how to tre but they can double lazer flip 180.

You should watch these vids to get an idea of how innovative skateboard has become.

Skateboarding is a bitch to learn, not going to lie. It takes a solid 1-2 years to get balance and stability on a skateboard.

If you can't ollie after like 1-2 years. give up an ride a longboard. I did this and i'm quite happy..

I started trying to ollie when I was in 6th grade and I still can't. At one point when I was little I could even kickflip, but couldn't ollie. It just never made sense to me. I can get the board in the air but not without some sort of rotation.

I would assume get into downhill mountain biking/freeriding etc.. i find its very similar to skiing and its mad fun.

Why does everyone look for tutorial videos first these days. Like those god damn awful expert village ones. Buy a skateboard, ride around on it. Build a mini ramp in your garage if you have one.

A lot of it is muscle memory.
