I was looking at the droid and am thinking of getting one..
does anyone have one, and if so do you like it?
is it annoying? or a bad phone? i have nevr had a "smart phone"

dude its karma on the internet, its not a life worthiness meter.  and the karma in his name is refering to the ski, the volkl karma, when it was out a few years ago...now back on task,

everyone I know that has the droid loves it, only problem is when your running your apps a lot during the day, your battery drains, but that happens with all phones

Yo I have one and i love it. There are tons of cool apps and games. Free youtube and internet everywhere. one of my favorite things about it is that there is an app for free unlimited music downloads which is sick.

The things it does amaze me.  I just got the Layars app.  It opens your camera and as you look around through the camera it will pop up a bubble over any restaurant you look at and have all its info and phone number and everything.  its so crazy

I have it, you can get one cheap off of Amazon or Wirefly.com. I would wait until the Motorola Droid Shadow comes out, 4.3in screen, 8 mp camera (i think) and a much faster processor, unless you want a dedicated keyboard. Besides the hardware, Android is a fun OS with a lot of customization. I rooted my phone so I have free wireless tethering, NES, SNES, Genesis etc. Updating ROMs is easy also.

i don't know man. according to some sources i've found, the shadow is pretty much a droid incredible but with a weaker processor.

i would definitely go for the incredible. the droid is decent, can be overclocked, but the incredible has the features that the droid is missing, minus the physical keyboard.

either way, android is the way to go. won't be long before apple fanboys realize their phone and os suck...

get the advanced task killer..its a free app that u download and it allows you to check off which apps u want to stay on and off..you dont know it but once u close an app its still on even the camera is an app as well as messaging..get the advanced task killer and you can turn everything off even messaging and it saves you hours of battery
