Best gopro SD Card

Anyone know of the best gopro HD SD card. I've heard some are better than most. links

i wouldn't say some are better than others.....

its just that some brands of memory card don't work on the GoPro HD...

I myself have a Sandisk 8gig class 4 memory card that works perfectly and is more than large enough...

Don't waste your money on a really expensive card.
I got a SanDisk Ultra Class II (2) 16gb card. Works perfectly in every mode, and was ~$55 CDN.

i remember reading somewhere that go pro (non hd) can only have a 2gb max memory card. is that true or can you have a bigger one?

just check the "class" of the card.. must be at least a class 4, I think they go up to class 10?

^^just like i mentioned earlier; i hereby quote the GoPro HD manual

"USING SD CARDS
The HD HERO camera is compatible with 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB capacity SD and SDHC cards.
While all speed cards work in the camera, GoPro recommends minimum Class 4 speed cards for reliability
when shooting HD video. GoPro’s own testing has shown improved reliability in high vibration activities with
name brand SD and SDHC cards."

and from my own and others experience, some brands just don't work...
brands that almost definately work are kingston cards (GoPro sells these)
and sandisk cards...

class 4 is recommended and i find 8gig to be more than sufficient; get 16gig if you're planning on shooting more than 1 battery with a card or if you wanna play on the safe side....

I have not tried any others but I have a Kingston class 4 16 GB and it works really well. I got it off amazon for 35$. and free shipping

You can update the firmware and run up to a 8gb card as well as make lighting changes better suited for bright conditions (sun/snow).

Don't buy a card just because it is class 4 or higher. Look around on the net (specifically the gopro facebook page) to see what cards have worked for others. Like I said, I'm using a class 2 card without ANY problems whatsoever. There are people out there with class 4, 6,8, or even 10 that can't get their cameras to do shit.
