So my dad won an oscar last night...

My dad accepted an Oscar for directing the movie The Cove. The movie has been getting great feedback since he finished it in July. Anyone who loves the oceans or anyone who makes or enjoys films, you'll see what this movie is all about. You can get it anywhere you get movies. It's not as entertaining as Avatar or the Hurt Locker, but I'm sure you'll get something out of it. Thanks for all the support.

holy shit that is an incredable movie...   goddamn world sometimes.  like i  enjoy a fish  and they get killed as well. but shit this makes me sick.. like i have no fuckin problem with a native american getting a whale once in while. but wow. this has blown my mind. dare i say .. mabye make me drop eating meat.  unless i kill it with my bare hands.

congrats, but honestly thats some major bullshit. with all the other documentaries being about human pain, suffering, and death. and then to give the oscar to a movie about fucking dolphins, c'mon man, give me a break. am i the only one who sees serious fault with that?

I'd assume alot of weight is given to how the movie put the problem across and how well its directed. One of the first trailers i've seen in a while that actually makes me want to go out and see the movie.

whats the harm in giving it to the dolphin one?

It's not as if this one receiving an award makes the others any less important or anything. Maybe slightly less publicity, but thats it.

Get a pic of you with the oscar! Not because i don't believe you, but because you'd probably be the first ns'er to be photographed with one.
