Seriously why do people stress the ACT and SAT? If you're going to an in state school you can get just an average grade and be fine. You don't have to get a 32 or a 2100. I got accepted to every school, some in state and out of state, I applied to with a 28 and an 1850.

dude dont stress it at all. i studied for my ACT for a total of like an hour and a half just during my math class the day before, and got a 35. the ACT is easy as fuck.

Just take it a bunch if you wanna go to a university, because most big schools do superscores...but if you are like me and you get that scholarship for getting a 21 or higher and your going to community college you are pretty damn set for the next 2 years

Ya I too am calling bull shit. The test is out of 36 and it is pretty unheard of. I got a 34 on the science section and that was considered to be in the 99%. No way did this kid get a 35 over all.

I have two friends that scored a 35. One is borderline autistic savant and the other is simply a genius in every subject. Both of these guys didn't study very much. These guys both got above a 1500 on the SAT too. I don't think studying for the ACT is very helpful. It's an aptitude test, not a quiz on stuff you know. It's not impossible to score a 35 without studying, but it takes a certain kind of person to pull it off.

I agree with your BS call, but who knows.

i have two friends who got 35s just showing up and taking the test.

i got a 30 without studying and on very little sleep.

the act isnt hard, its 100% dependent on ones test taking abilities.
which is why it sucks when it comes to determining college stuff.

i have friends who are incredibly bright who did rather poorly, and other friends who are morons who did quite well.

standardized testing is part of the reason our countrys school system blows.

Get used to it kiddies. I take 2-3 ACT type tests every year. And I'm out of college and have a degree. Just because you take one test, doesn't mean you're done with them. On the same note, just because you get a degree, doesn't mean you're done learning.

Just some words of advice for the future.

36 is perfect, not 35. and you can call bullshit if you want, but its true, i am dead serious. the act really is not difficult. the math only goes up to like precalc, the science is just about reading charts, the writing is basically common sense, and the reading and vocab are pretty damn easy.

My brother scored a perfect score on the SAT his sophomore year, without opening a book. It's possible he got a 35. Maybe the kid's just smart...

What are you retards talking about, you cannot study for the ACT or the SAT. I take it back the only thing you can study for is the math section, but truth me told you either know it or you don't. Not gonna be able to teach yourself a textbooks worth of information if you don't already know it.

The tests in general are simply reading comprehension. Thats really all they test, if your good at it you will score a 25+. As to the people doubting kids getting like upper 30's score I really would not be surprised. The test is not that difficult, its not like the MCAT or something. However, smartest person I know who got a 34 on his ACT, and I have a hard time believing so many people on this site got within his range of his score.
