i've seen a bunch of people asking for 48 hour codes and shit recently so i figured i'd share this with ns.
i haven't played xbox in a long time, but last night i was bored out of my mind so i felt like going online. i don't have a credit card to buy it off xbox so i was trying to get 48 hour codes and shit but i couldn't get them to work.
for some reason i decided to make a new profile on my xbox. i don't remember all the steps i went through, it only took like 5-10 mins though, but at some point after i made the profile it asked me if i wanted to join xbox live. i made a whole new account for live and then it offered me a 1 month free trial for xbox live. i don't know if this was just some random coincidence, but i did it last night and it worked. you start with no friends and no wins / levels etc on any game, but i don't really give a shit.
i don't know if anyone has done this before, if everyone already knows about this then this can just be my official xbox stoke thread. hope it works for you guys.
