who do you think is going to win the upcoming championship title in UFC 111? your finally here.

chuck getting knocked out was surprising to me, he was doing well.
i like the mirko cor cop and pat berry fight.that was a good fight.
and the fight were the 2 guys both kicked each other in the face at the same time

The end to the Franklin/Liddell fight was kinda surprising. I was expecting a 2nd round TKO from Franklin but to get a late 1st round KO with a broken arm really shows how much Chuck has fallen.

Cro Cop throwing the hook kicks, side kicks, and axe kick was awesome and then he got his second ever Submission win. AWESOME!

The McDonald/Condit fight was awesome and deservedly got Fight of the Night.

Eh... it was bloody... but about 2 minutes into the second it become super sloppy, super slow, they were gassed for basically the last two rounds... Hands down and mouthpieces falling out and shit.

Marc Munoz is awesome. He helped coach my high school wrestling team last season, and I know like 15 kids that train at his gym. They all say he is super nice.

Wrestler pose the biggest threat to Silva so I am choosing to be optimistic.

Also, there is a lot of talk that Anderson is only a BJJ BLackbelt from the Nogs because he is their friend. He has NEVER competed in ADCC or Grappler's Quest... He subbed Hendo and Lutter yes but Hendo's sub defense ain't great and Lutter was a gassed out idiot who is, contrary to what Goldie says, is NOT the Michael Jordan of BJJ.

Chael hasn't stopped a single opponent in the UFC or WEC. All his wins have come from decision. He won't make it through 25 minutes with Anderson. Sure anything could happen but his chances are razor thin. The UFC hype machine has made people think Chael is some legit contender...

It doesn't matter if he has stopped a fight chael is an amazing fighter if you watch his match with marquardt it was pure domination and plus his only weakness was his sub defense which he has quickly improved anderson silva isn't a match for him on the ground he may be able to outstrike him but chael can get silva to the ground and keep him there.

It completely matters whether he can stop a fight or whether his strategy relies on laying and praying for the bells. And Anderson KOed Nate in the first round. Chael has never had a 5 round fight. Lay and pray is much more difficult when a fight is 5 rounds (hence why edgar's win was so impressive). Chael's strategy for victory depends on 25 minutes of strategy, Anderson's strategy for victory depends on .5 seconds of strategy. Yes Chael can win, but the odds of that are slim. Remeber the shit James Irvin talked? Don't buy into the hype just because the guy can talk trash.

Chael was an Olympic Alternate... those guys can run up Mt. Rainer and Mt. McKinley in the same day and ask what's next.

And no one is buying into it because of the shit he is talking. Hendo is the same sort of fighter and was beating Anderson until he abandoned his gameplan and tried to strike with Anderson. Chael is so damn bullheaded he won't give up a gameplan and is willing to take a guy down and pound on him.

My personal thing is I have honestly never liked Anderson. During the Pride years I was a huge fan of the Chute Boxe Academy and then Anderson jumped ship and went to their rival Brazilian Top Team. Dude is a traitor.

And besides that I can't stand his damn manager. If anything I want Sonnen to win just to see Soares go red in the face on having to explain away why his two champs who were supposedly "unbeatable" fighters lost.

Eh I like Anderson as a person a hell of a lot more then I like Sonnen as a person. And there is no such thing as an unbeatable champ. Fedor was probably the closest thing to that that we will likely ever see. Anyone can be beat and that is why MMA is great. Even if I said I give 50-1 odds for anderson he can still lose. And just because someone wins does NOT mean they are the better fighter, just that they were the better fighter that specific night.

I met Sonnen in person. He is nothing like that in person... it's a camera thing. And the other too is that when he talks up a fight and loses he doesn't whine and bitch. He actually is very gracious in defeat.



For me personally on this card the Almedia vs Hughes and Fitch vs Alves are the two fights I am looking forward to the most. Fitch vs Alves I hope Fitch pummels Alves for 3 rounds and turns his face into ground beef. And with Almedia vs Hughes I hope Almedia wins so Hughes stops trying to be this man:

WAT. Armstrong has never tested positive and has been tested over 300 times, and IMO as long as he is really clean he is one of, if not the greatest athlete ever. Sonnen is going to get fucked by Anderson and anyone who thinks otherwise is just being silly.

Great card. A lot of quality fights tonight. Chael looked great and did much better then I expected. I was also amazed that after a 20 minute beating Anderson still had the awareness to slap on and finish a triangle/armbar, one of the best comebacks I have ever seen.
