Hot wax vs rub wax

how much of a difference is there??(if you use good wax)

A lot, Hot wax is absorbed by the pores of the base better so it says faster longer. Rub on wax is basically a last minute resort kinda thing and if you go with that method you pretty much have to wax every time before skiing (sometimes even twice during the day depending on the wax/snow conditions). Rub on is easier and quicker...but definitely not as good.

Its like day and night, its soo much better for the life of your skis if you get them waxed.
