Bacons in the east?

im looking at skis for next year and ive always been very interested in the line sir francis bacons. this would just be part of a 2 ski quiver. bacons (if i get them) and park skis (dumonts) would the bacons be stupid to buy for the east because they are 115 underfoot and have early taper. i know next year they have rocker so i think with the rocker they would be way to much for the east so i would probably buy and older non rockered model. let me know your thoughts. they would be used mostly on groomers and trees and for those east coast "pow" days

I ride bacons in the east. They are my go to ski for everything, Super fast in the trees, and super light... You won't regret it. The sidecut is wild and lets you shred turns on groomers and in the pow. I mounted mine .5 off true center and couldn't be happier.

Yeah the bacons are perfect. I mean next yera with the rocker they should kill it.

I skied my Bacons in the Midwest and they were pretty fun...killed it on the groomers and jumps are pretty fun too.

do it and you'll have fun.  Do not fear the rocker either.  Many people (including myself) shy away from it because EP pros and pontoons are some of the best examples of this category.  However, there is a huge range in rocker size and placement, and skis like the K2 Kung Fujas are a Eastern dreamskis. 
I'm sure Line will produce a versatile sublte rocker profile.  I'm getting Bibbys to replace my Bacons, but it was because of an impact that they were warrantied.  Just wanted to try something different.  But in all cerealness, pull the trigger and buy them

read my reviews. if i didn't ski park at all, i'd way rather ski those than any park skis i've been on
