Libertys?

does liberty make any nice park skis?  I can get a good deal on them so I want to know if they are a good ski in the park.   Which models are the best? I'm thinkin I want to get 2 pairs so should I get 2 different models?

LTEs - tops the list for Liberty's park skis...I want to try a pair SO bad, they look like so much fun.

Liberty makes some bomber skis, including the LTE, and with their 3yr warranty liberty is even sicker.

I finally got to ride a pair of LTEs last month, and i have to say absolutely killer ski. Stupid light weight, extremely stable, carved like a champ, and good quick bases. I cant attest to the durability, but I've heard in the last two years they've come a long long way, and the 3 year warranty backs that up. I love bamboo, and wouldn't hesitate to pick up a set.

This guy can swear by them specially next years.

i wouldnt, i could tell me friend to comment in here... but they break, and fast.

he is on is 4th pair in 3 years, and the last pair they wouldnt warranty because the three years of the origional was over, but they gave him pro form. his first 3 were the hazmats, and the last pair were the double helix, and the base became covex from less then 15 days of riding on them, probably has something to do with the bamboo core and shitty construction.  libertys skis just dont last, at all. they arent constructed to last.  i hit a backcounty booter with his origional ones 3 times, and they lost all their camber that day. 

too many repeats for me to trust them, i dont think they have it figured out like these other people are saying, at least they didnt this year.

the last 3 years hazmats, i pair each year, so 09, 08, 07. and this years double helix, or 2010s

Well the '07 to '08 changing in construction but not in dimensions and Helix's are pretty bomber. Did you get them warrantied?

in my origional post i mentioned i was talking about a friend who isnt on NS as much. and he's warrantying them, and then going to sell them immediately, hes rightfully fed up.  and from his experiences, i dont agree, no liberty ski is bomber IMO. to the OP: but if you think they are going to be the most fun go for it, if you ski hard your equipment wont last forever anyways, its your call, but i dont agree with everyone saying there stuff is bomber, i think its very far from.

Nothing is ever going to be 100% fault free; sounds like the guy talked about here had a lot of bad luck with his Liberty experience.

However,they did replace his skis for the 3 year period when a lot of companies probably wouldn't have even warrantied them once.

I've been skiing on Liberty for about 3 years now and have personally had no problems; I know a couple of guys who have broken some; but usually on crashes where anything would break.

Overall they are really good skis, super light and poppy. They'll be a lot of fun to ride and if you do have problems, the company will stand by their warranty promise.
