So I am looking at getting elizabeths for a park ski, (I live in Ontario.) and I am wondering if at 5'5 120 pounds the elizabeth will be to heavy and long to spin nicely.
Im the exact same size, and mine do quite well. I havent spun very hard on them, and its harder to throw down more technical stuff, but its super fun to throw floaty 1s, 3s, and 5s. Just count on messing around more and enjoying skiing more than being super serious and trying to stomp double corks and stuff. Theyre sick though, make a great all mountain ski for someone our size.
Theyre fun. Really stable and you get good grip, but harder to spin on/off, and do switch ups. I would get them mounted center if youre just doing park, because mine are 2cm back (recommended), and I wish they were farther forward when I ski park on them. If you want to use them as an all mountain ski, mount them like 1cm back.
