So yesterday I straight aired a 65 foot jump to get a feel for the lip, overshot, and landed on my back. I got knocked out and woke up in ski patrol attatched to a backboard and being loaded into an ambulance. After wondering for 2-3 hours if I could ever walk again, I got a cat scan and everything turned out to be okay. But I did have a severe concussion, a broken rib, and a punctured lung. Any of you guys have any tips for recovery? Because my main sport is mountain biking and I need to be back as soon as possible. Thanks.
vibes man, overshooting jumps is scary shit. i dislocated my shoulder on the same think, but only a 45 footer last year, just make sure when you go to hit a jump next season pretend it never happend and do it with confidence!
Thanks. I'll definetly make sure I'm fully recovered before I do anything. Had a bad experience re-injuring a broken collarbone so I probably won't make that mistake again. Now at least I can focus on not failing school...
