here is the vimeo link to the first two, do you have to be a member of vimeo in order to get the embed code?
Anyone who wants to sit here and talk shit about Jex or MOMENT should stop bitching and find a diffrent thread. Anyone here who wants to say " His stye is whack" 1. crazy smooth style 2. stomps tricks 3. hes a law student so finding any time to progress/ski is truly amazing. My brother is a law student and he is busy non stop with work. This dude is going places.
Keep it up guys love the webisodes and love my jibs cant wait to ride rockers on hood in a few months.
lol, wow. Ok. This is soo stupid, and this is the last thing I am going to waste my time saying.
The whole shit-storm started off of one comment. Someone said that they thought the skiing was sub-par, but none the less, much appreciated. Then people start writing essays crying about it.
As Jeff Schmuck put it "Newschoolers is the bathroom wall of the ski industry." People who write essays on the bathroom wall attacking others who didn't like their posted content are fucking idiots. I don't care if you go to law school or not, because that's irrelevant. You still sound like a cry baby.
IF you want me to compare the video to something relative, I can. With the amount of sponsors and support these guys are getting, relative comparisons can be made with Traveling Circus, Shredn Breakfast, Chuglife etc. The intro song for this edit is a direct bite off of the TC intro, and a shitty one at that. The attempt at humor throughout was piss poor and rudimentary to say the least. I wont even compare the skiing, because thats what really sets this webisode series apart, the skiing sucks. So relatively, this websiode=Whack.
To hear someone say that this skiing is at a professional level is disgusting. Not a single shot in that edit, or anything I have ever seen, deserves professional status. This is an absolute joke. People like Hornbeck, LJ, Will W, Seanyj, Ager, Spong, and literally HUNDREDS of others, are 50 times better, and get little to nothing in return.
Look at the honorable mentions for Superunknown for example.

These kids didnt even make it to finals, and are UNSPONSORED for the most part. Let alone getting paid. Every single one of them is better than this edit.
The problem with the industry are people like Jason Tross, rubbing the balls of shitty skiers like the ones in the edit. The fact that you consider them on a professional level is nauseating.
Skiing is a subjectively judged sport. Some people value slow, smooth spins over fast flipping double corks. However, subjectivity is irrelevant here... because these guys just suck at skiing period.
Tross, I think you are mistaking me with someone you actually know. The 20 minutes we spent together last year in the Baker BC you were too busy verbally sucking off every skier you had ever met as well as fabricating affiliations and job titles with companies, to even get even the slightest idea of who I am. I think your idea of knowing someone, and having an opinion about their attitude "for a long time" is pretty skewed. I am still not exactly sure what it is you actually do or have done. Your article on Mt. Baker was about as interesting, well written, and properly fact checked as I expected from an old, wannabe, hack "writer" like yourself.
Any person who has even heard of your name wont stop telling me how weird and annoying you are. I know you would like to think you have some big presence in the ski industry, but please, dont flatter yourself. I think you all need to re-evaluate how seriously you take yourselves... Tross, keep my name out of your mouth you fucking weirdo.
The webisodes are a product of TWO Moment sponsered atheletes, one that is on their pro team and one that is on their Am team. Those are KC Deane and Scott Nikkel, the rest of the supporting cast are just freinds of the family and supporters of Moment's work. They are in the webisode not because of their overwhelming ability but because they are out there everyday doing the samething everybody else on this website does, having fun skiing.
As KC said earlier the footage viewed in these edits is real time footage to get the stoke up of other riders. If you would like to see the pro level shots please wait for DOS Medias next film. Moment has not made any questionable sponsorship moves, they have two very talented individuals riding for them making these edits on their own time. Currently sponsoring big name pros for park is not their main priority.
And I'm still a little confused with where you are getting all your information, I am assuming that most of what you are saying are assumptions based off the little you know of Moment. For instance the US Mogul team is not sponsored by Moment, each athelete on that team is individually sponsored. Shannon Bahrke that won bronze is a talented local Tahoe athelete that rides for Moment. The US womens Gold winner Hannah Kearney is a Volkl rider. That is just one example of your misstaments.
Thank you for naming 5 fully sponsored individuals, four of which are practically full-time pros, even if they don't have that status with their sponsors. As for the superunknons half those kids are Tahoe locals that are all friends of Moment and ski with the In the MOMENT crew guys on a regular basis, that all have opportunities to get shots in the webisodes.
The Superunknown honorable mentions are all really good, but what you are watching a half season up to a couple seasons worth of footage. They have put the accumulation of all their lifetime best shots into a 2 min video. The Moment webisodes represent a month, if that of riding, and have a running length of over 10 min, with 5-8 min of that being skiing footage. I'm sorry that you do not appreciate these websiodes, and I see that you get to ski with some of the best Washington locals on a daily basis that's really cool and many of them may be better than those in the webisodes, but are you or any of them putting out ten min of above par skiing a month along with getting other shots for feature films?
