i think he keeps buying new ones because by selling them once a year he can still afford a new one before the value of the car depreciates too greatly to sell it and spend a reasonable amount of extra money for a new one.

also, why would he bother getting that when
1. the merciolago replacement is coming out in like a year

a ski rack would not make the car unstable,even on a normal car a ski rack doesnt do much, but a lambo would be extremely stable anyway. all it would do is make it handle a little bit worse. unless your going waay over 100, then yeah it would start to get unstable.

and isnt his AWD? even if it was RWD it could drive in the snow as long as it had snow tires, it would probably do really bad, but he could still make it around. if it got any more than a foot on the ground then the ride height would start to  be a problem.

Have you ever driven a car with a ski rack at 60mph, and then the same car without one at 60mph? Completely different handling. I'm not saying that it is super hard to drive at 60mph with a ski rack (far from it), but who buys a lambo to go 60mph?

And a Lambo with RWD could absolutely NOT handle well in the snow. There is simply too much torque being driven to those wheels. AWD, sure. But you do realize that lambo's have a road clearance of inches. They can't go over speed bumps without lifting suspension via Air/Hydrolics (I'm guessing lambos use air suspensions). They are not winter cars.

2. Although I agree with you on the Italia being one of the most epic cars ever made, it is in a different class than the murcielago. The Murcielago a huge car geared towards super rich people who want a fast, prestigious car. The Italia is a smaller car and is definitely more geared towards car enthusiasts who care more about driving than status, but still want to keep it italian so to speak. It is also way more comparable to a gallardo than the murcielago.

I fucking love cars, too bad my ski obsession probably means I will never own a super nice car. Actually not too bad, skiing is worth it haha.

1. For years there was a rumor that Jon invested well and made some serious money, i'm unsure of this though speculation alone says Head alone pays him 200k+, not to mention what anyone else is paying him.

2. He straight out buys the lambos, you can't lease a car for a year(normally) and he addressed this before, the depreciation of a lambo is virtually nothing, i think he lost like 20 000 on the last one, which when you consider it's a 400k+ super car is nothing.

3.It's unique that he puts a ski box on his lamborghini, i doubt the ski box makes the car that unstable, especially consider he probably isn't going that fast on his way to the hill, and if he wanted to go to the track, taking off a ski box is a 5 minute thing.

he just knows how to promote himself.

if i tell anybody who is not into skiing about jon olsson i always mention the lambo WITH the skirack first, cuz that catches attention. sponsors know that as well, it´s being recognized outside skiings world in different car magazines, that´s where the lamborghini "sponsorship" comes from. not sure what he really gets, but i doubt that he has to pay for his car.. read any article about jon, the lambo is always mentioned.

As was mentioned before Jon is a smart man. He knows when he buys one of the most well recognized cars on the market and puts a ski rack on it people take notice, Therefor promoting his image. His sponors notice to. Jon is smart.
