ive been a fan of dubstep for a few years , and yes you could say its blowin up a lil but i think it can only really blow up so much ... well see though
I love the scene Dubstep has at the moment... Like at underground raves etc. everyone is just so tight looking out for each other even though they dont know the,...
but i wouldn't be surprised if rusko or the widdler made an appearance at warped tour or some shit like that.
dubstep is going to turn into a 3oh3-like phenomenon. everyones going to think they're listening to something so original and so new, but in reality it will just be a watered down/commercialized version of what other have been listening to for years.
I've only listened and went to gigs since last summer, but it definitely gets me going better than drum and bass and electro. There's a great club in Helsinki called Redrum with arguably the best sound system in Scandinavia and feeling that "wobble wobble" caving in your ears and body is crazy. I've noticed that I don't enjoy it at home or sober that much, though.
