S2 Jago Mounting Position?

What up NS

I just got my S2 Jagos for this season, and had them mounted at the +6 mark. (What Rossi Recomends for park) Well when I brought them into the shop, (The same shop that mounted them) they proceed to tell me that i have 2 more inches of tail then tip. WHAT THE FUCK. I emailed Rossignol directly on Feb 20, still no response. I dont know why Rossignol would ever recommend skis to be forward mounted. I thought I could trust them with a mounting position, but I guess not. So hey Rossignol, FUCK YOU. /Rant

I took mine into the local shop and asked for a center mount. They measured it out and it was a couple cms back from the furthest forward mark. I guess some people like to ski better backwards than forwards? who knows. Does it really bother you

the mount spots can be off, i am not sure about 2 inches, but you never know. i hope this gets worked out for you, but in the future you should measure them before you get them mounted

yeah i guess its partially my fault but still! who recommends a forward mount. And yes they are 2 inches off.

i agree completely, that is ridiculous. i would try talk to rossignol and see what they will do for you, but i could see them saying it was your fault for not double checking.

Man, I should look into these. My shop wouldn't let me mount ahead of center.

I find it hard to believe that they are 2 inches ahead of center, unless your shop mounted +6 of the farthest forward line. 6 cm is a little less than 2 inches.

yeah the shop tech said I have 31 inches of tail and 27 inches off tip, so im off center by 2 inches. And even in the product video, which coincidentally got removed by rossignol, they talked how there's an all mountain spot (0), a half jib, half mountain spot (+3) and a sole jib spot (+6). The guys name from the video was Matt Reem, Rossignol's Head of twin tip skis I believe.

the guy steve fucked up my skis
i told him dead center so he did recomended
but then i got this kid to do it for after he fucked it up and that kid happend to be on ns haha

Did you get them remounted? If you did, what do you think of them? I'm thinking of buying a pair. Also where would you recommend mounting them if I'm doing like 75-80% park?

Don't hate on rossi. They are so legit. Anyways, look at the skiis yourself and don't beleve the shop. +6 is where you want them. Mount your own skis next time. It's easy and it brings a greater sense of pride to your stuff.

haha yeah i was in an angry rage about it lol, but i dont have the equipment to mount them myself.

Unless all i need is a drill, tape measure, and gorilla glue? haha yeah right........

Bummer bro. Times are hard. I would always recommend measuring, I have run into it several times. The graphics do not line up properly on the production floor. Found it several times on Rossi. and once or twice with Blizzard. Sorry to hear that.
