Save a ski mountain!

A local ski mountain by me, Scotch Valley, has been closed for a few years now, and just recently it was bought by a Jewish group that want to tear down the lodge and make it into a summer retreat. The website has a petition because they want to get it for skiing again in the winter, but still summer retreat for summer.......you can read about it all on the website, but I'm asking you Newschoolers, please sign the petition on the website to try to help save a mountain!

One of my neighbors runs the site, and he just posted a sign up in our town promoting it, so he still runs it, but he just had a baby so I imagine he is busy. Anyways I have contacted him (since he is my neighbor) and he will give this to the legislature, so lets keep it growing Newschoolers!

question, are your signatures valid if they are from all over, or should it be regional? does it matter?

I don't think it matters, it is a petition, and anyone can sign it. People from all over go to ski mountains so it shouldnt be a factor
