Save a ski mountain!

A local ski mountain by me, Scotch Valley, has been closed for a few years now, and just recently it was bought by a Jewish group that want to tear down the lodge and make it into a summer retreat. The website has a petition because they want to get it for skiing again in the winter, but still summer retreat for summer.......you can read about it all on the website, but I'm asking you Newschoolers, please sign the petition on the website to try to help save a mountain!

It's still under discussion with them what they will do, they might hire locals to run it during the winter, and then they run it over the summer, or there is also talk of the Jewish people running it all the time, or there is also talk that they might not be allowed to make it a summer camp. The petition is to raise awareness to the legislature of New York so maybe they can step in. Either way, all I care about is if I can ski it again.
