more like halo mixed with some quake and shadowrun, sounds pretty sick to me. Bungie knows how to make a good game and I think a lot of the new stuff could make the game really good. if they take what halo 3 did and add more skill and movement around the maps then it'll be amazing.

what i can gather from this is, good maps, dmr pwns, A lot more players on a map at any given point. Most weapons are more powerful, and JET PACKS

oh cool. i had no idea i got to use the beta since i bought odst. and i only bought odst to get the h3 multiplayer disk with all the maps. thats how much i love h3 multiplayer

i stopped playing video games after first year of college! halo 3 was the only thing i played....damn i forgot how fun it looks! ugh i guess i might have to get back into it when the snow melts (hopefully never) haha

i hate jet packs .. so gay

the only way a jet pack would be ok is if u shot the jetpack it would explode isntaly. otherwise people would hide so fast and it already ttakes forever to kill people in halo

tru that...halo 2 and 3 were kinda let downs..other than h3's map editing......this (halo reach) looks like a step back to the original halo but with better graphics and a more sandbox kinda mentality.

I am jealous but I played CE on my OG Xbox, as well as Halo 2, and I played H3 on my friends 360 and I keep going back to CE all the time on my OG Xbox.

ok because reach is the first planet the covenant attacked to start the war and the game is about the battle for te planet of reach. also halo 3 is not the same as halo combat evolved as you previously stated, Combat evolved is essentially halo1.

well yes and no. it is a prequel but the technology isnt better it actually brings back the similar pistol from halo 1.....its not better, so much as it is just new weapons for the fans

lol, hide? have you ever played halo, it's practically impossible to hide. if someone runs after 2 shots you can just nade them. I think jet packs are awesome, it's gonna make the game so much faster paced and promote movement.

I dunno if anyone here played shadowrun but that game has gliders (like jetpacks) as well as teleportation and is probably the most competitive and well designed shooter for a console. One of the lead developers of shadowrun actually works at bungie now and you can see a lot of it's influence in the video such as:

jetpacks
map call outs under radar
reticle bloom

looks really sick to me

Remotely comparable to CoD: MW2? You kidding me? Modern Warfare 2 is great none the less, but theres gonna be games that pass it up. No doubt. And with a loyal community such as Halo's, this is gonna be a pretty successful game.
