They had a lot of trouble getting that going. Michael Cera was refusing to sign on. He didn't want to play the same character again and fall prey to type-casting …

Haha, exactly. Michael Cera: Same awkward teenager, different hoodie. He did finally give in and signed on which greenlit the movie.
