yeah it is an awesome feat of nature. honestly not too surprising since the killer whale can get up to 30ft long and 10tons, versus great whites, where the largest verified specimen was about 7000 lbs, and a little over 20ft long. plus the whales are much more intelligent and hunt in packs (pods?). I almost feel that the shark was hiding from the whales by staying near the boat. In the end that shark was little more than a glorified minnow with a nasty bite. you should check out the vid of a pod of orcas taking down a blue whale.
