Not bad. I'll try and look into this more later, but here are some quick things I picked out.
Intro - seemed a tad underlit, and I wish you had used a tripod. Very nice idea though, and I liked the way you put it together. Classy, understated, but still very interesting to watch. Good stuff.
In terms of the main edit, it was pretty good. I feel like you did a lot of kinda the same followcam over and over again. I feel like they were a bit overused. No worries, just nitpicking. Also for the record, I know you have the 35mm and I don't know whether you brought it on the hill, but I was hoping for some macro/up close/slow mo rail shots. See Chaoz "Empty Pockets" for examples.
Some of the shots were real good though, like the shot of the flat down with the snow maker in the foreground, and a couple of the shots where you did zooms and stuff mid follow. On the whole, your follows were smooth - glidecam?
You also left a lot of his afterbang in. I would've cut that out because while it is nice, the fact that I noticed it on the majority of shots made me feel like it was intentionally left in. I prefer an understated bang in an edit, where even if the bang is obvious, the edit keeps it from getting old.
There were alot of shots where your white balance was kinda off - some you have the snow white, some you have it more of a sepia - I prefer a more middle ground, but regardless, its good to keep it the same. You can probably change that in post.
Didn't like the song, but I hate Lil Wayne so that's my problem, not yours. Besides him though it fit pretty well.
Good skiing, I think I know Brendan. That jump on the side of the road was burly.
I think thats it, if I notice/remember anything else I'll let you know. On the whole - pretty damn good, you should be proud of yourself. Just a few minor touchups and you'll have yourself a bawler edit mang!
Cheers!
