Paul smith college

so i recently applied to the Univeristy of New Hampshire but i am not sure if i was going to get in, So i set on back on the internet so find some other colleges that i could be interested in and i came across Paul Smith college in the Addriondacks in NY. Im from western Ma have already applied to the college.

but my question is that anyone here ever been to paul smith its located off of Lake Placid and looks like an awesome place to go to school. i would be majoring Forestry Technolgy it just sounds like an awesome place surrounded by some great sking and they own over 14000 acres for the school

You should probably post this in the regionals, but I've been to Paul Smiths a couple of times for some forestry stuff. It's basically in the middle of nowhere.... so be prepared to have nothing around you ever.

really you think so. its praticly at lake placid which is 2 time olympic home so id think there would be some night light out there

Nope.... middle of nowhere. Closest city/town is Burlington I think? Don't quote me on that, though.

i drive right past there on my way to whiteface and it is literally in the middle of no where, granted placid is a short drive away but not walking distance.

I went to PSC for 2 years and have grown up around campus. Yes its in the middle of no where, but whiteface mtn is 45 min away the closest town is saranac lake, and the closest city its plattsburgh. so yes its in the middle of no where, but the skiing is good, the vibe is different. if you have any questions shoot a pm.

i hear its super tiny, im a country guy but i dont think being surrounded by straight hicks would be all that great, and, its in the middle of no where, my buddy went and said it was sooo boring
