i just delamenated my k2s today and i have some questions about the 09 suspects because i might get them.
Are they a good park ski and fun to play around with them?
And is there anything wrong about them?

in my personal opinion Salamon are shit skis in general and i think the pros you see riding on them go through about a pair a week haha. the 09 suspects wear and tare extremely easy, they do not last at all plus they do not have a good flex for jumping and they are a pretty heavy ski. i would suggest for park and all round:

line

armarda

faction

All these skis are hand made or designed properly and will not fuck up on you

I disagree, I've had my 07-08 K2 public enemy's for three seasons now and they're just finally falling apart. Up until this season I haven't really had any problems with them and they'd been pretty solid (minus the soft topsheet) considering I beat the fuck out of my skis. They're giving out now though... I've lost almost all my edges underfoot and the sidewalls are kinda falling apart. Other than that they've served me well.

I hear moment and Armada make pretty good skis if you're looking for a pair that'll last. Oh and don't go for the suspects... My friend had a pair last year and snapped them in half.

My friend has 08s I think and they hold up, but in the area thats right up on the sidewall it seems to be a bit soft. I know a kid that has 07/08 and 08/09 dumonts and the old ones have lasted longer because they dont have edge armour. Btw hes really good and skis alot so its not like he just doesent use them.

suspects blow, there fun while they last, but thats not very long, the edges fall off right away and the top sheet falls off a lot, more than other skis. Although, they do warranty there skis cause they know they have problems

I'd recommend staying away as well, suspects ride really good, but don't last very long if you ride your skis hard. Mine have been used about 20 times, and already have two nice cracks in the edges. I'm hoping mine will last till the spring is over so I can warranty them then.

I agree with what most of the people on here are saying about the durability of the suspects; they fall apart really easy.

I've heard the Salomon switched the manufacturing (from China to Austria) for next year, and that the durability is supposed to be better.. so if you decide to buy, wait. 

I've had mine for three days are they are already starting to fall apart, so I'd stay away from them. All I've done is skied park really, so take that into consideration. In my opinion, Salomon has always been pretty bad at manufacturing, because my Dumonts (capped construction) lost an edge underfoot as well.

Until I hear good things about Salomon and their skis, I'm going with other ski companies.

thye were, not my fav ski, but i always ride my old ones after i break a new pair of skis. haha, but anyway, dont get suspects, period. unless theyr superrrr cheap. but honestly, i'd rather pay a bit more money and not have my skis be unrideable after a month. i really wish salomon would re-make a cap park ski, that design worked really well. but it was kinda soft

1080 decades are a cap ski, i believe they are the same as the old dumont

i definitely agree with you on the durability, but i rode the suspects and they were great on jumps, nice and stiff, and they are as light as line invaders, so pretty light.
