Possible prolonged winters?

My friend sent me this and said it could cause prolonged winters... any one know anything about it

it said climate change, which if you haven't noticed, the iceberg melted due to more heat during the antarctic summer, therefore, likely warmer winters, longer summers. but who knows. i don't particularly see how an iceberg could alter currents, but, again, no expert.

yeah thats why I was asking.... seeing if anyone knew info from a different source or anything.... I could use prolonged winters haha.
