another afterbang thread! sorta...

So I recently had top sheet peeling on my volkl ledge's and in the market for new skis. I have a store credit because of the warrenty and have lots of "$crillah" to spare so what ski would you recommend? The shop carries line, volkl, salomon, atomic, rossignol and dynastar. From reviews I figured the a-bangs would be a good match for me but I heard they dont last long and after a few rides turn softer then my junk at a amputee ripper club :/ .

oh im 160 pounds, 5'11. +K for help.

I agree with first post, id go anthems all the way, they're really fun and poppy and great for rails and jumps. Also there being discontinued so I'd get them while you still can!

amplid and momment would be sick... if the shop sold them, +k anyways,

Im also looking for sumthin 85 or fatter waist. buying skis tomorrow or tuesday, more imput would be good (y)

Well if you want something fatter than Punx then check out the Atomic Patents, theyre 95 underfoot and my buddy loves them to death. slays park and all mountain

ok, they dont have any Atomics left, and the skis that ive narrowed it down to are -

suspects $675 with STH 12's, walls $475, and afterbangs $315, i want something that has lots of pop to it, and a ski I can progress more with jumping.

buying tomorrow, last min. help?

the last ski in that group i'd buy is the suspect. wall is the best of the three, but i'd see if they can get you anything else..

If I had a stupid amount of money they have the lib tech pipe skis, right now I'm liking the idea of walls, the price of the afterbangs tho... for the ski's they has in the shop, its like a sore dick, you can't beat it.

if you havn't made you buy yet then i wouldn't buy S4s because they are not really park specific and pretty much just a racing ski with a few park features and twin tips but basically not a park ski, nore of a 50/50 park/groomers

Ive ridden the s4's before and wasn't a fan, I wound up buying the afterbangs. Call me a trend whore or w.e you want but I really like the dimensions, and from screwing around in my back yard on them I feel glad I got them, and the price also helped. Thanks for the help NS!
