Yet another lizzy thread

okay so yesterday i got lost in the woods at waterville and i had to leave me anthems with griffons on them behind RIP. so now im in the market for a new ski i hear everyone loves the elizabeths but im wondering if they are right for me. Im 5' 11'' 165 in the east coast i am by no means a good park skier but i like doing 3s and 5s of really small stuff and i straightline the bigger jumps. and i also like to do alot of rails but nothing to tech on them. soo would the elizabeth be a good choice for me? ohh and i would also like them to do well on groomers and trees

i dont think the lizzies would be a very good pick for you, if you are riding primarily east coast and why the hell would you leave your ski behind?

alright i was at waterville and skied out of bounds. i followed ski tracks and realized they were taking me no where. i called ski patrol and they said to start hiking back up. i walked about 10 feet with my skis and realized that is was not possible to continue with me skis because the snow was like chest deep. the choice was either leave my skis or spend the night in the white mountains.

wow, really dude? i would not fuckin leave my skis behind, no matter what the conditions, because im not rich, and cant jus go home and get a "new pair."    Give me the quardinates to the area where ya left your skis and ill go get a new pair of skis

seriously i think you might be retarded. ill give you the god damn quardinates and you can go get them. but your going to have to come up with some money to pay the fine you get from fish and game when they have to pull your ass out

why not just carry your skis up and if anything leave your poles?

because the skis weigh much more and are just a pain to carry in 4 feet of snow. and i needed the poles to help me climb i garuntee that anybody would have done the same thing

i didnt mean all the hate dude, i just wouldnt really think of leaving my skis, behind, but i wasnt in the positon you were i guess, it just sounded rediculous to leave 150 dollar plus equipment out in the woods. The last part was just a joke really.

yeah no problem dude. but its not like i wanted to leave me skis behind? when the fish and game guy said "you better start hiking and ge tout of there or you may be spending the night" i didnt really care about my skis at the moment

i wasnt all fresh and it was deep in the woods and i dont know if it was 4 feet but its was sooo deep

If I was you, I wouldn't buy new skis. Just wait until spring and go look for them.

yeah thats what i think im going to do. i found a pair of beat to shit blends on gear trade that i might use for the rest of the season and then try to sell them on here after.
