Question for the woman of NS!

Hey girls! My girl needs new boots badly! She's riding size 25.5 size boots and she said they were "a lil loose" but when we went to the boot fitter she was sized at a 23.5! So I'm looking around now for her B-day March 10th. The boot fitter was recommending a lot of boots and he said ROXY boots a few times. I've never heard anything good or bad on them. I was wondering what are some good boots out there for girls at a good price. She mainly does downhill, NO PARK (too scared). She seems to have a narrow foot when measured it was like 90. I need help ASAP so I can get them in for her B-day and get her custom fitted up so we can hit the hill soon. Please any help would be amazing! +K for bumps!

not a girl, but i am a bootfiiter at my local shop, ROXY boots are re branded rossis, they are basicly the upper end Xena series, the 6 and 8 i belive, but in different colors. soo a really solid intermindate boot. You pay more for the roxy look and name, if she is a trong skier you'd be better off getting her one of ROSSI's sensor boots, like a Vita Senor boot.

well my gf has roxy boots and skis and i told her to get line skis and to go to a boot fitter for her boots but she refused. so she got the roxy boots and skis and she LOVES them. like last year she barely skid and this year she skis every other day

Roxy boots are total bullshit apparently, they're just sub standard boots with a brand name on 'em and they knock up the prices a bunch. Salomon definitely makes womens boots (SPK womans I think) but I wouldn't know too much other than Salomon makes legit boots. And you said skiiny feet, dare I say GET FULLTILTS?

Yeah Full tilts def entered my mind once I saw she had a skinny foot. I think that plus with the thermo fit liners and she has orthotics she needs to fit in there that might be the way to go! what you think?

apparently orthotics actually fit really good in FT's and work amazing.

well dam! I'm gonna start looking into FT but if anyone has experience with orthotics in ski boots let me know. I really want to get her a good setup she can use for years!

SPKs are great! honestly don't go with the roxy boot, they're shitty IMO and well a shitty boot won't get you anywhere. take her to the shop and have her try on lots of boots, that's the only way to really pick one out. who cares if it's not the coolest boot, comfort > style.

Thanks everyone! Yeah were heading out today and trying on a bunch of boots to see what it gonna work for her. Anymore comments please post cause her boots are like 8 years old and cheap as shit! She has no idea what a good boot should feel like

she shouldn't have any pressure points and her foot shouldn't slide in the boot.
