Good pics! That sums it up. looks really fun with no consequences, but it can change your day real quick. This is a pretty small avi, we have seen these same slopes unload to dirt in years past. That's a crown of 10+ feet, debri paths that go for miles, much like the one at meadows. If you think about it White river, Salmon river and Zig Zag canyons are almost identical to heather canyon in aspect, slope angle and exposure. That's the tricky thing about northwest avi forcasting. It's ussually not a high risk, but when it goes it can unload huge. This is especially important this year where our snowpack is higlhly fractued or seperated by long periods of dry weather, rain and high wind events. Makes for a bad situation in the BC. Look for bad things to happen as it warms up this spring.
