I just got arrested for ordering a pizza.

im here chillin, not doin shit and its dinner time so i order a pizza.
girl on the phone says "13.50 give him like a half hour" im like "sweet thanks"
so i wait a half hour and the pizza dude shows up
"whats up man"

him - "25.39"
me - "hows that? she said it was like 13 bucks"
him - "nah its 25.39; let me call them and see whats up"
so he calls them and comes back to my door
him - "yea its 25.39 for a large bbq"
me - "well i dont have that much and the girl said 13 bucks"
me again - "well, heres 2 bucks (i had a 20 and two dollar bills) for driving out here but i dont want the pizza cause i aint got any dough"
him - "ok sorry about that"
me - "yea sorry man"

few seconds later i get a call from the pizza shop
owner - "hey, whats going on? you order a pizza?"
me - "yea, i ordered a large pie and you gave me the wrong price which i didnt have money for so i gave your driver a couple bucks for comin out and we both apologized to each other"
owner - "thats theft man, i call the cops on people all the time for this stuff. the house loses money"
me - "its not my fault you guys cant communicate prices. youre a pizza shop anyway not a casino"
owner - "this happens a lot, i know the cops theyre my friends. i already called them to go to your house"
me - "well, if you already called them i dont need to talk to you anymore"
then i hung up and ordered a pizza from a different place.

few minutes later sure enough, cops roll up. and im already pissed cause the owner of the shop was real hostile and being an asshole. all i want is a god damn pizza for dinner.
so cops are here looking really bored and pissed they had to come out "so what happened?"
i responded with "holy shit im glad i dont pay taxes here if all you guys do is check up on people who order pizzas"
which was the wrong answer hahaha

i got taken to the piggy bank. didnt get inked or charged with anything; just sat in a room for like 2 hours while the pigs talked to the owner. if i wanted to go through more hassle yea i could take action on them but i dont care, just shrug it off. i got my pizza in the end, all is well.
they ended up giving the owner of the shop a $4,000 citation for calling them so much.

and now im happily enjoying a bbq chicken from another pizzaria with a nice longtrail. good times.

one time me and a couple of friends of mine wanted to get some pizza but we didnt have any cash so we dug out 15 dollars of change from my parent coin stash and ordered the pizza.The guy ended up going to my moms house because i had already ordered a pizza from my moms house and they saved my address i guess so this 40 yeard old guy drove to my moms house then had to come all the way back to my dads which takes about 10 mintues and we say we have the money in all change so he is counting out the coins dropping them all over the place numerous times and cursing and once he has it he walks out without the tip i was going to give him furiously shouting thanks for the tip and my buddy who thought we had given him one said "no problem" which was followed by him raging.....sooo the story continues when we ordered a pizza the next week paying with all change as before,and the same guy comes walking to my door and we are all scared shitless to aanswer the door so everyone runs away and im left there with this angry guy pounding at my door so i say"i just got here this is my friends house and they just left to go get something and theres a bunch of money on the table so he counts it all out and realizes i was there the first time so hes sooo pissed but this time thank god i gave him a tip because he wouldve sliced my head off...good times

the pizza place probably quotes customers wrong prices on purpose, and then charges them more at the door because once they get that far... most people are gonna pay, but be pissed. Once that steaming hot fresh pie is at your door and you're hungry its not like you're gonna say no (at least most people). Bad  business practices, maybe thats the reason they have to call the cops all the time. call the better business bureau

But that's fucked that he actually called the cops on you. Probably was trying to scare you into paying so he can make more money. What a shitty and scummy was to run a business.

if you guys are really interested....
the owner was charging people "specialty" prices for non-specialty pizzas without telling them. and yea, they are now under a full investigation haha. pretty sure this dude is gettin shut down.
