It sucks backcountry skiing gets so little recognition. 

The biggest difference between skiing and snowboarding it seems to me is the pipe snowboarders go ski powder for the last two months of their season and not only enjoy it, but can actually ride it well...

if he put more shots from this edit in his JOSS edit, I probably would have voted for him, but I'm voting for JOSS solely based on the JOSS edit they entered... and his wasn't quite as good as some of the others.
