I know which is why I said dont take it personally. Another reason why I wont take the fact that we drink maple syrup personally because we almost all play hockey, at least I do. I think its just funny how much you think you know compared to how much you actually know, unless you have been to Canada.

i live in WA.
about 6 hours +/- 30 minutes to get to the border depending on traffic.
my mom did Ironman Canada in Penticton, BC five times plus countless other races in Canada.
i went to the Canadian grand national for bmx three times. that's in Chiliwack, BC.
lastly i've spent multiple vacations up at Big White.

so i haven't experienced very much of Canada, but i've spent a fair amount of time there. more than the majority of Canadians will ever spend in USA.

I somewhat agree with you but I have tons of friends in the US and spend tons of time in Arizona (no skiing there sadly, just golfing) and I must say that some of it is pretty nice and the prices for lots of shit is way cheaper, but personally I like Canada way more. Plus my legality in Alberta is 3 years younger than in the US so I PARTAY.

I'll agree with that. There are some solid vacation destinations for sure, but I much prefer Canada to live in. Free healthcare, better beer. Alberta is 18 right? Same with Qc, which is why I said screw Ontario and came to school here. Plus, it's only an hour to rip over the border to get those 12$ 60's I love. Party time! Excellent!

I heard they are discussing whether or not to even have womens hockey in the 2014 olympics since the competition is only between two teams.
Canda vs. Slovakia = 18-0 = rediculous

With the women's team it is because well, they are women so they get really emotional AND because in women's hockey if you get second place it means you failed because it is Canada and the US.

For the men it could be because it was something of a Cinderella like story cause almost no one gave them a chance to really even GET to the medal rounds let alone put up the sort of fight they put up in the medal rounds.
