The Active boot board is made of rubber, the rigid is rigid plastic.  Technically you loose a bit of responsiveness by going with the Active, but you'll never feel it with an Intuition liner under your foot. 

As you go up in price, the liners get a bit thicker but way firmer, so the Seth has the most moldable, highest energy transmition in the line up.

Technically you can interchange every part of the boots, so it's possible to buy a Booter and turn it into a Seth level boot.

Do you know if I can buy the morrison liner separate?

you can just buy a stiffer tongue

they only have two mens liners so the hotdogger and seth morrison have the same liners.

but you can buy just the "pro" (the better liner) by itself off their website. I think it's $190.

Im pretty sure the only difference between the seth and hotdogger is the tongue (#10 and #6 stiffness respectively) and the metal or plastic buckles. so if you bought hotdoggers cause you like the color and then a #10 tongue it'd essentially be the same as the seth.

Not true.  The Hot Dogger does not have the "J-Bar" heel retention inserts that the Konflict and Seth have.  Plus the actual treatments on the outside of the liners purposefully stiffen them and make them super firm and responsive in addition to having the stiffer tongues.

Unfortunately, FT does not sell the super stiff Pro Liners found on the Konflict or Seth, they only sell the standard firmness Pro Liner found on the 09/10 Classic or the Plush liner (men's and ladies') or the Performer Liner (09/10 Booter).
